KENINGAU: The use of supplemental study materials will help students especially from the rural areas to improve their performance.
Pensiangan MP, Tan Sri Joseph Kurup, said excellence in academic will produce quality human resource that will contribute to the community.
“The government has provided various educational supports for students to achieve higher results in their exams,” he said during the presentation ceremony for Pensiangan Parliamentary School Tutor Education News.
About RM26,390 has been allocated to sponsor the Utusan Malaysia Tutor Education for 70 primary schools and six secondary schools in Pensiangan, involving 4,091 examination candidates.
Kurup said the sponsorship is one of the effort to improve exam performance for UPSR, PT3, and SPM in the Interior. – SayangSabah
