KALABAKAN: Syariah Crimes Code Enactment (II) 1993 or better known as hudud law which is implemented in Kelantan need to be explained to the non-Muslim.
Kalabalan MP, Datuk Ghapur Salleh, said the non-Muslim will understand the concept of hudud when it is explained correctly.
“Personally, when the law (hudud) is tabled in Parliament, I cannot go against it because as a Muslim I must obey the teachings of my religion,” he said when met at UMNO Branch Meeting for Kalabakan, Luasong, and Brumas at Dewan Serbaguna Kalabakan, here today.
According to him, hudud has no connection with the non-Muslim and will not affect them when implemented as it will be exclusively for Muslim to protect their interests.
At the same time, Ghapur also calls for Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) to re-evaluate or cancel the recently announced 30 percent fare hike for bus and public transportation services. – SayangSabah
