KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Aman, calls for all public employees to manage resources efficiently by ensuring projects to be completed according to scheduled plan.
Based on the briefing from thr Sabah Federal Development Office and Project II Monitoring System (SPPII), about RM2.881 billion or 76.34% from last year’s allocation has been utilized for development projects in Sabah since 10 January ago.
He was speaking during the Sabah Bil.1/2016 MTNg Meeting , today.
In the meeting he also said the amendment for Budget 2016 will be announced in 28 January due to several factors including the slump in economy for Malaysia’s biggest trading partner, China, the plummeting price of crude oil, and the strengthening of US dollar currency against Malaysian Ringgit.
Musa said the Prime Minister will focus on optimal expenditures and creative and innovative approach in increasing productivity. –SayangSabah
