TENOM: The government is urged to step up its development plans for schools in the interior to create a more comfortable and complete infrastructures for teaching and learning session (P&P).
Tenom Member of Parliament, Datuk Raime Unggi, said the physical development of schools in the interior must become a main priority in the government agenda to ensure students to enjoy an organized learning environment.
“Parents’ role in improving their children academic performance in school is also crucial nowadays,” he said in his speech for officiating Angpau Festival 2015 and Token of Appreciation Presentation for UPSR 2014 in SJK (C) Chi Vun, here today.
The change that is happening in the country educational system demands for parents and teachers to be committed in ensuring the children to excel in accordance with the educational transformation implemented by the government.
“Parents must monitor their children education progress and care for their learning issues, discipline, abilities and their progress in schools; public or private,” he said. – SayangSabah
