Muhyiddin had initially refused to meet members of the press who had camped outside his residence to get his comments.
However, at about 8.30pm, he emerged from his house to meet with the reporters and informed that he will not be issuing any statement today but would be holding a press conference at his residence tomorrow.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak today announced a new Cabinet line-up, removing Muhyiddin and four other ministers.
Najib has named Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi as the new Deputy Prime Minister. Dr Ahmad Zahid will also retain his Home Ministry portfolio.- BERNAMA
