KOTA KINABALU: France Ambassador to Malaysia, Christophe Penot expresses the country’s interest to explore business opportunities in Sabah.
In this regard, he said that they are keen in bringing companies representatives from France to Sabah for a working visit to see the various investment opportunities in the state.
“French tourists are also attracted to come to Sabah for its beauty, island resorts, beaches and world-famous diving spots,” he said when visiting the Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Musa Aman at the Chief Minister Residence in Sri Gaya, Likas, here today.
Among other matters discussed between the two leaders are the proposal for cooperation in tourism sector, new energies, and waste management.
Musa, who is also the state Finance Minister, said the state government welcomes the interests of foreign investors in Sabah.
“We are pleased with the presence of investors from every country. Sabah have diverse ethnicities and yet we live in harmony,” Musa said. – SayangSabah
