KOTA KINABALU: With the upcoming Chinese New Year, community at Sri Pritchard Old Folks Home, Kinarut, received the attention of private companies and individuals.
Putatan Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry President, Datuk Frankie Liew, led a group of employees from his two companies, Jadi Johan Sdn Bhd, and Nuga Best (Sabah) Sdn Bhd, to visit the 94 old folks living at the welfare house to present Ang Pow and food.
Frankie Liew is also the Executive Chairperson for Jadi Johan Sdn Bhd and Nuga Best (Sabah) Sdn Bhd Chairperson.
Frankie said the visit was held in conjunction with the coming Chinese New Year and part of the company’s annual activity for more than 20 years.
“With this charity visit, we hope to bring smiles and happiness to the community of Sri Pritchard Old Folks Home, especially when Chinese New Year is getting closer,” he said.
Also present were the Sri Pritchard Old Folks Home Officer, Puan Monalizah Akul, and Nuga Best Management Directoer, Francis Liew. –SayangSabah
