KOTA KINABALU – Let’s take a breather on the issue for now said the Minister of Sabah Tourism, Culture and Environment Datuk Masidi Manjun when asked by reporters on the alleged “Islamisation” issue of the SMK Kinarut 16-year-old Christian student’s case recently.
“So much tension and emotion has been created. We need to cool down for a moment and look at the facts, devoid of any emotion,” he said this after closing the Sabah Ethnic and Sub-Ethnic Listing and Classification Workshop at Ming Garden Hotel, here today.
Masidi who is also the minister in charge of education hoped that the issue will reach an affable solution soon.
“There may be problem here and there, but at the end of the day we always find a way to sort it out; that is what makes Sabah unique,” he added.
