KOTA KINABALU – Innovative programme in education helps students to be more skillful said the Assistant Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment Datuk Kamarlin Ombi.

“Education is a necessity in today’s world. Educated people have the advantage in many things,” he said at the presentation of excellence awards for SMK Tansau students at Wisma Muis, today.

He said that in the tech- world nothing is impossible and that is also apply to the education system.

“Everything is evolving; one of these days it may not be a surprising thing if the gas cylinder at your home change into a small container. Innovation is everywhere; nothing is impossible,” he said.

Kamarlin was representing his Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun to the presentation award. At the ceremony 94 students received awards for their excellent achievements in academic.

Last year, the schools received second place in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) result achievement for Penampang district. – By Fizah Yusof/SayangSabah
