KOTA KINABALU- Any club or organization consists of proactive committee are able to implemented various program not only for the benefits of the members but also to the society.
Sabah Minister of Source Development and Information Technology, Datuk Siringan Gubat said it is proven through the success of ‘Kelab Kebajukan, Sukan dan Rekreasi’ Sabah Human Resource Development Department (JPSM).
According to him, JPSM club successfully implemented various programmes throughout last year and this year. Among them are the special fundraising for the Mount Kinabalu earthquake tragedy, blood donation campaign, academic visits in the state and in the peninsular as well as sports competition.
JPSM club also is active in implementation of welfare activities such as visiting the house of JPSM staffs that misfortune as well as sponsoring the excellent children of the members in exams.
He mentioned it in the inauguration of the Dinner organized by Welfare, Sports and Recreation Club of JPSM Sabah in Kota Kinabalu. The text was read by his Assistant Minister, Datuk Hajah Hamisa Samat.
Siringan also commended JPSM club for championing Sports Competition among Agencies under Sabah Ministry of Resource Development and Information Technology in 2015.
“I hope the implementation of this event could strengthen the bond and friendship network of JPSM club with other clubs, “she said.
The event was organized to raise fund to finance various programmes of JPSM club throughout this year apart from helping the disable in the state.
In the event, Hamisa witnessed the presentation of five thousand ringgit cheque by JPSM Director who is also the President of JPSM Club, Billy Yumbod to the President of Sabah Society for the Deaf, Francis Yong.-SayangSabah
