KUALA LUMPUR: The staging of the Dewa Satria Lestari theatre which ended tonight draws the curtain on the Semarak Bangsawan Series
programme organised by the National Department for Culture and Arts (JKKN) this year.
The performance tonight was about the noble values and plight of a man for his beloved family, captivated the audience with elements of conflict, tragedy, drama and humour.
The play director, Adira Wahinnur said the performance was presented with technics of fantasy and reality in the storyline.
The play held at Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) Auditiorium tonight concluded after being staged for three consecutive days involving 110 peformers comprising primary and secondary school students, university students and individuals.
Earlier in the year, six productions were staged namely ‘Raja Ku Puteh’, ‘Awang Kudis Buta’, ‘Kota Lukut’, ‘Nila Kesuma’, ‘Akan Dikemukakan’ and
‘Sumpahan Nujum Perawan’. – BERNAMA
