KUDAT: Improvements in public examination results of schools in Kudat was proof of the selfless dedication of education officers, headmasters, principals and teachers in executing their duties, said Minister of Special Tasks Datuk Teo Chee Kang.

Based on the report by Kudat education officer, Teo said primary and secondary schools in the district have shown significant improvements in the public examinations last year, including Ujian Penilaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR), Form Three Assessment Examination (PT3), Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM).

“This is the result of the selfless dedication of teachers, headmasters, principals and education officers in Kudat.”

Teo, who is also Tanjung Kapor Assemblyman, said that when gracing the Teachers’ Day celebration at Dewan Tun Mustapha here. The event was attended by headmasters, principals, teachers and staff of 71 primary and secondary schools in the district.

The dinner also saw the presentation of certificate to teachers who have shown outstanding performance.
