Dart tournament evokes tremendous response

KOTA KINABALU – The International Sabah Open Dart Tournament (ISODT) 2015 evoked tremendous response with about 300 dart players registered for the three days event.

ISODT organiser, Michael Logitan said they have obtained participation forms from the Philippines, Brunei, Singapore, Peninsular Malaysia and Sarawak as well as Sabah.

“Twenty four students have registered for the new category of U-17 Junior Single.  Participation have been quite satisfactory since it was introduced a few months ago,” he said, adding that the event to be held from March 27 to 29 five categories will be open for participants.

“We will keep the previous year categories which are Team Event, 2nd Chance Team Event, Men’s Single and Ladies Single as the new category of U-17 Junior Single,” he shared.

“Attractive prizes await all teams as singles. Team Event winners stand to win RM7000, while the second place will bring home RM3000, the third and fourth place, RM1200, fifth to eighth place, RM600 and ninth to sixteen place will receive trophies.
