KOTA KINABALU: A cook was charged at the Magistrate Court, today, for failing to provide identification document to the police.
The accused, Moris Mansibor, 31, was allegedly committed the crime in 31 December, last year, at Taman Ridgeview, Phase 12, Luyang, at 12.10pm.
He was charged under Section 25(1)(n) of the National Registration Regulation 1990, which carries the punishment of up to three years jail or RM20,000 fine maximum, if found guilty.
However, no statement was recorded today and the accused will be remanded until the next hearing.
Lower Court Registrar, Rita Kunsoi, set 14 January for the case mention.
