SEMPORNA: Rural communities are advised to spend moderately in dealing with the rising price of goods.
Senallang State Assemblyman (ADUN), Datuk Nasir Sakaran, said moderation is a must, by only buying necessary goods for their daily needs.
Nasir said that every individuals or community cannot disregard their role as a consumer and have to be cooperative in tackling the high prices of goods today.
“We must spend wisely and only on necessities,” he said during the meet the people programme at Kg. Pegagau Baru, here today.
Nasir also carried out a ‘meet the people sessions’ in villages including Kampung Malanta Tutup, and Kampung Tarapuli.
As a consumer the people must know their rights and ensure traders sell quality goods at a reasonable prices to avoid exploitation. – SayangSabah
