KOTA KINABALU: CCECC (M) Sdn Bhd, a China-based company that developed the Kepayan Apartment has been sought by its 96 buyers to process the issuance of the strata titles.
The buyers who highlighted their problem in local newspapers recently has caught the attention of Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (SHAREDA) president Datuk Francis Goh.
Together with Kapayan’s people development leader Liau Su Sang and Penampang District councilor Judy Hiew, Goh held a meeting with the affected homeowners who will also be given free legal advice when needed.
And it was learnt that the developer has since closed its office in Kota Kinabalu and returned to China after completing the project, said Goh who is also the MCA Penampang division chairman.
“We have two options to locate the developer, first by placing an advertisement in the newspapers if that doesn’t work, we will ask China Consul General in Kota Kinabalu Chen Peijie to help us find this developer in China,” said Goh.-Sayangsabah
