While other countries focus on high-tech invention, Malaysia can produce a generation of young minds to helm the country against globalized challenges and vision.
Sabah Minister of Community Development and Consumer Affairs, Datuk Jainab Ahmad, said it is time for Parents Teachers Association (PTA) and schools to make efforts and contribute their ideas in improving the quality of skills and education among the students.
“We need to open our mind and change the way we think in ensuring the education of our children is top-notch,” she said in her speech for officiating SK Rampayan PIBG Annual Meeting, recently.
Also present were Kota Kinabalu Education Department Assistant Officer, Adzrul Puddin, SK Rampayan Principal, Abdul Razak Muda, and SK Rampayan PIBG President, Murad Said.
Jainab also calls for the parents to give their full support for their children to study diligently to secure a bright and successful future.
“I believe that today’s parents are willing to find opportunities to improve their children education, as they have to improve themselves and not bound in the same occupation sector so that they can compete with other races,” she added. – SayangSabah
