BEAUFORT: Beaufort Parliament Charity Visit Programme can be the platform for people to voice out their problems in their communities to the authority.
Beaufort Member of Parliament, Datuk Azizah Mohd. Dun said, the weekly programme is a continuous effort to provide services for the targeted communities such as senior citizens who need supports, with the current focus on the senior citizens in Klias area.
They will actively proceed with welfare activities with the participation of the youth volunteers, covering aid supports for the impoverished, underprivileged (OKU), single mothers, and orphans.
“It (programme) will help illustrate our concern to the disadvantaged communities through contributions and aid supports, to express our efforts in helping them,” she told reporters in her visit to several houses in Kg. Laba here, today.
According to her, the programme which applies meet-the-people approach will hopefully reach the targeted communities and creates positive impacts through its charity services for the communities in the constituent. – SayangSabah
