KOTA KINABALU: Some110 participants have joined the CEKAP Drug Free Employee Programme today.
The half-day event was a collaboration between Kota Kinabalu PEMADAM Women Affairs Bureau and DBKK.
Kota Kinabalu Mayor, Datuk Abidin Madingkir, said the programme is important for DBKK community who are exposed to external factors while performing their duties.
“The group from Hospital Mesra Bukit Padang, consisting of experts and medical officers and led by Dr. Norhayati Nordin, is kind enough to give their time to co-organize this programme for the benefit of the city folks,” he said during the CEKAP Drug Free Employee Programme here today.
DBKK, he explained, must be prepared in handling negative elements and its effects on its employees and their work performances.
“We know these negative elements and avoid them, since they can bring detrimental effects on individuals and departments,” he said.
DBKK community should also show good character, integrity, and transparency in carrying out their responsibility. -SayangSabah
