KOTA KINABALU: The state government is committed in developing the economy in the aspect of trade and investment.
The Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Aman, said the Investment Profile in the BIMP-EAGA Area Economy Development Corridor will give the needed opportunities for investors to invest in various sectors available in the Sabah, such as the Sabah Economy Development Corridor.
“BIMP-EAGA has achieved a profound achievement in implementing its targets to speed up development in small regions by increasing trade, investment, and tourism in the covered areas within two decades,” he said.
His text speech was delivered by his deputy cum the state Minister of Infrastructure Development, Datuk Seri Panglima Raymond Tan Shu Kiah, during the dinner night event for the 19th BIMP-EAGA Ministerial Meetings and Related Meetings, at Magellan Sutera, today.
Musa also express his confidence for trade and investments from other countries such as in BIMP-EAGA will give a positive impact for the nation’s economy, especially in Sabah.
He also calls for all parties in the government and private sectors to give efforts in ensuring BIMP-EAGA to achieve its vision to develop regional economy. –SayangSabah
