KOTA KINABALU: Twenty seven licenses have been issued for vape traders in Kota Kinabalu.
The Mayor, Datuk Abidin Madingkir, said the order to stop business owners from selling vape relies on government policy.
“DBKK has no jurisdiction to ban vape because it depends on the policy set by government,” he said during a press conference for the 23rd Bandaraya Branch PUSPANITA Annual Grand Meeting at Dewan Puspa, Centre Point, this morning.
When asked about the implementation of the Parking Coupon System, he said they received a positive feedback from the local community regarding on the new system.
“The system receives a positive response from the community thanks to its efficiency, despite there are still some who complained, but it is only a minority,” he added. –SayangSabah
