KOTA KINABALU; Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) vice president Japiril Suhaimin wants the state government to bar Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) vice president Nurul Izzah Anwar Ibrahim from entering Sabah following her meeting with princess Jacel Jamalul Kiram.
Japiril in his Facebook posting today urged the Sabah state government following her meeting with the Princess who was the spokesperson for Sultan Kiram during the Lahad Datu armed intrusion by soldiers from the Sulu Sultanate in 2013.
“Nurul Izzah has hurt the sensitivity of the people of Sabah who had lost their loved ones during the intrusion by soldiers loyal to Jamalul Kiram duringthe armed battle with Malaysian security forces in Tanduo. Stop her from entering Sabah,” he said.
One comment received on Facebook urged all PKR reps in Sabah to stop supporting PKR.
“If Nurul Izzah remains in contact with Princess Jacel, all reps in Sabah must quit PKR and don’t expect the people of Sabah to support the party,” said Mohd Norazman Injah.
“Say No to PKR,” said another posting on the Facebook. Several pictures of Nurul Izzah and Princess Jacel was uploaded in social media and gone viral, drawing criticism.- BERNAMA
