Ayama come home, says brother

KOTA KINABALU:  A brother Selvaraju a/l Periane, 54, has pleaded with his younger sister, Raviamah a/p Periane, to return to their family more than 20 years after she left them to marry a Sabahan and reside here.

Selvaraju, who arrived here from Kuala Lumpur, said the last time he met his sister, affectionately known as Ayamah, was in 1994.

He said the family missed Ayamah very much, but so far, efforts to trace her had been futile.

“Please come home, We have been looking for you and miss you very much,” he said to reporters when met at the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia office here today.

Raju who was here with his younger brother Jeyamukar a/l Periane, 46, pleaded for Ayamah to contact their older sister in Beaufort.

He urged anyone who knew Ayamah to contact either of them at telephone number 016-6625622 and 016-2628114, or their sister Namalah a/p Periane at 019-8721721.- BERNAMA
