KOTA KINABALU – The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Penampang will be hosting an international scale event that will be attended by 5,000 delegates from all around the world this June.

Asia Pacific Conference (ASPAC) 2015 will be held on the June 11 to 14 and seen as an important avenue for Sabah not only to promote the tourism sector but also attract more investors to Sabah.

This was voice out by the JCI Vice President, Yasuyoshi Watari during a press conference at the Arena Belia, here today.

“I believe that ASPAC 2015 can bring more tourists to Sabah and this is an important opportunity for the state to promote their tourism and bring in more investors in,” he said.

Yasuyoshi said although there are record of Japanese tourists coming to Sabah; the numbers seems little.

“Sabah is a very famous state for the Japanese but not many of them have the opportunity to come here. But since ASPAC will be held in Sabah, it gives opportunity not just Japan but the whole world especial the Asia Pacific region to come and visit Sabah,” he said. – SayangSabah
