KOTA KINABALU – A three-day air conditioning maintenance course held here today saw 74 participants acquiring certificates of attendance.
Assistant Minister of Resource Development and Information Technology, Datuk Hamisa Samat who officiated course closing ceremony said her department had organised many similar programmes in order to help entrepreneurs to be competent and successful.
“I’m sure that by joining this kind of programme, they’ll be able to increase the rate of production and income in their business as they are now qualified to give the best service to the public,” she added.
The course was opened to all Class F Contractor with RM100 fee for three days and was attended by 74 participants who were mostly from the city while others were from Kuala Penyu, Sipitang and Sandakan.
Sahar Unggat, the course coordinator of the programme emphasised that the participants had sat for an exam on today’s class in order to gain 20 points of Contractor Continuous Development (CCD).
“This is the first course of this month and there’ll be a similar course held in Beluran and Tawau on this month. We’ll be organising three courses in a month with different district,” Sahar said.- By Saila Saidie / Sayangsabah.
