KOTA KINABALU: About 2,000 participants are expected to participate in the UNITAR-Sidma Charity Fun Run organised by the UNITAR International University and Sidma College Sabah at the Likas Sports Complex
here on Feb 13.
Sidma College Sabah and Sarawak chairman Dr Morni Kambrie said the charity run is being held to raise funds for the Al-Mughni orphanage and Drug Prevention Association Malaysia (Pemadam), besides promoting a healthy lifestyle.
“Proceeds from this charity run will be given to the Al-Mughni orphanage, which is founded and administered by the Sidma College, and some of it will also be given to Pemadam,” he told a press conference today.
Morni said so far, a total of 1,690 participants had registered to take part in the charity run, including 139 as virtual runners. – BERNAMA
